Appearantly I can't use greentext format here, so looks like I gotta type this out the normal way.

You ask for real images of earth from space. We give you real images of earth from space. You call it a hoax, and call us a bunch of brainwashed shills You don't prove or explain how any of it is fake, you just assume. Rinse, repeat.

We do. Have you ever heard of "Google"? You can do what's called a "search" to find just what you're looking for! :)

You do realise that photos by any regular camera, without the aid of a telescope, is going to just look like a streak of light... Right?

well, spinningballearth believers....Any luck finding those real photos of sats?

take your time!

Im sure ISS vids have captured sats on their cams. Ive also seen footage of ISS over the earth, but I've never seen any sats. Please help me find REAL pics/footage of sats in orbit.

Satellites aren't supposed to be close enough to other satellites to take pictures of them. That would greatly throw off trajectories and greatly increase the odds of a collision.

It's not that easy to photograph satellites from the ground, but we do have a pretty huge satellite up there, the ISS, and it's very easy to photograph from the ground. Here's a very cool picture of the ISS docking with the Space Shuttle Discovery. The ISS is ridiculously easy to see from the ground and with a little skill you can use a telescope to see it in detail and photograph it. Thousands of such pictures have been taken by people from all over the world.

Even easier to see are the Iridium flare. Pictures of Iridium flares are a dime a dozen. The flares can be seen almost every night for any given location. I myself have seen hundreds of flares. I have an app on my phone that alerts me when one is coming up.

Both Iridium and the ISS can be seen very easily with the naked eye and they are 100% predictable, this website is great for spotting satellites: http://www.heavens-above.com/

It would be absurd to suggest that you can't see any satellites in orbit when you can see so many with the naked eye! Why this is possible has NEVER been explained by any "flat earth theory".

While it is pretty easy to see stuff in Low Earth Orbit like ISS and Iridium, given the right equipment you can even see satellites in Geosynchronous orbit, which are over 20,000 miles away! Check out this cool video doing just that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIesWBTUeiI You can get a good idea of just how far they are having to zoom in by how fast the stars in the background are zooming by.

So beyond those which can be easily seen from the ground, there are plenty of pictures of satellites taken in space. The Space Shuttle has put up many satellites, all of those have been photographed and filmed from the Space Shuttle. The Shuttle has even rendezvoused with some satellites that were already in orbit, most famously when it went up to fix the Hubble Telescope.

Retreiving satellites is pretty rare, there usually is many good reasons to do so, but STS-51-A did manage to retrieve two different satellites. The photo of the Astronaut retrieving one of them is pretty cool.

LOL if "real" photos of sateLIES in orbit existed, the spinningballearth believers would have been tripping over themselves to post links to the supposedly "real" photos of sats.

Lurkers, isnt this something to think about?

Google "pictures of Earth from space". Done!
