I think when his reign is over and he is gone (be it this summer or after his contract has finished) there will be many negatives (rightfully) associated with his reign but there will also be some positives too.

I don't think it's black and white enough to call his reign a failure - especially if he manages to win the FA cup this weekend - but I do think it's acceptable to say he's below expected standards given the funds available to him and the length of time he's had to assemble this team.

I think it's time he left this summer as I don't have any trust in him turning it around but he hasn't earnt my ire in the same manner he has with others and I won't be sat here slagging him off after he's gone, I just think he's not the right guy to have us challenging at the top.

I'm also not going to slag him off when he is gone, but for now he is Utd manager trolling us fans with these 'unrealistic' comments.

I think there are enough reasons to call his reign a failure. FA Cup is a very good trophy, but without a spot in top-4 it makes me feel as we're underdogs who don't have enough ambitions for 1st places, but still can compete in the cup ties. Just like arsenal.

The same moyes apologists defended moyes when he said "we should aspire to be at city's level" and said he was speaking the truth. Now they themselves have bought the delusional bullshit LvG has done and support his stance that those are impossible aims.

But LvG himself said that had we won one of the games earlier on, that we could still win the title. And now it's too hard... Delusional? Lies? Out of his depth? All of it?

You just know that when we win with Mourinho everyone will be like "LVG laid the foundations for this" and they'll forget all about the horrid football we've played.

Well if Rashford, Shaw, Martial etc are all heavily involved I don't think there would be any harm in giving some credit to LVG

Stop beating the dead horse ffs. Let go.

I mean, with the exception of a few staunch LVG Ultra's the majority of the sub seems to what him gone as soon as possible.

United way or United tradition is WINNING. I agree 100%. I love developing players and all that and I get that giving youth a chance is a big part of this club we love, but that should never compromise our ability to win silverware.

I think most ppl want LvG gone, to me the worst part of LvG has been the incredibly boring football, even if the results were not good enough, the boring football was the worst. We watch football to be entertained, but I can honestly say I was entertained a handful of times this entire season...

We're all frustrated mate. As hard as it is, we at times, just try to look at bits of positive side of things and remain hopeful for the future. If everyone posts what they think, just as you did, not only would this sub be filled with posts that echo the same thing over and over again but it'll also turn into a very, very sombre place.

I get your point mate, thanks for response. If this post is rubbish mods can delete it, I'm from Russian-speaking world where Reddit is not popular at all, thus being a newbie to this place i may not get all the rules and foundations of this place, in my country we're used to grumble on every subject :)
