What about the development of our youth players especially pereira? What about the chance of Mourinho settling in?

Especially when we'll be participating in the much less competitive Europa League.... If anything that's good news for youth players trying to game some playing time.

Europa league is a passageway to champions league for teams below top 4 quality. Look at pool for example, if they win tonight this is a successful season for them. We shouldnt take Europa lightly.

We shouldn't but if Mou is in charge we likely will be taking it lightly, he's said in the past he doesn't view it as a priority.

It has no effect on Mourinho setling in, it's his dream job and he'll do his best for sure. UCL isn't a place to develop youngsters, so there's no connection between poised question and Champions league.

How will we cope? Just like in the season after Moyes' sacking. Concentrate on domestic trophies, sometimes crying while hearing UCL anthem.

I think it's possible that since we don't have champions league to focus on we might not rest players leading up to the midweek fixtures giving the youth less of a chance. However, I dont see why we wouldn't do something similar for the Europa league.

For me Europa League is much more convenient place for that. Oir senior players shouldn't waste time in this shitty tournament.

That shitty tournament is a free road to the Champions league and a 2 legged cup tie against top teams.

The fact that British teams are shit in the Europa league shouldn't be an excuse as they're also shit in the Champions league for the last 5 years too.

The club will suffer financially. The team will be affected only slightly as there will be one day less of rest in between UEL and PL matches.
