I'm assuming they need the list of subs you moderate to make you a moderator to the specific chatroom in carrot as well. All of /r/reddevils mods have been also made mods of the /r/reddevils chatroom. They'd probably need your username to register in the website as well, you do end up using your reddit username when chatting there. I'm not too sure about the sign up date thing though.

Vardy recorded a speed of 35.4 km per hour in Leicester's 2-1 win at West Ham back in August, Martial matched that record in our 3-3 draw against Newcastle at St James' Park. They have both been clocked as the fastest players in the Premier League this season. Rooney clocked in at 35km per hour and that is, of course, just slightly slower than Martial's top speed registered against Newcastle United. It's a myth that Rooney is one of the slowest attackers in the country. Our biggest problem is attacking effectively and whilst I do agree we need more pace in the squad, /u/mink_man your statement in the vein to Rooney being slow is plain ridiculous.

If and when it happens there's no way you're going to miss out on hearing about it. Might as well go do what you've got to do and carry on with life. There's little point in staying here and refreshing every few minutes hoping for it to happen, the wait will not only be agonising but everytime the page refreshes and you see no updates, you're only going to feel worse.
