The reasons to play them are...
1. The team pays their salary.
2. The fans paid money to watch the team play and I would assume would want to see their best players.

I'm not upset they didn't play. Just wondering why they would be rested 30 days ahead of their next match.

Maybe the team team stands to make more money if they have premier level players and they didn't want them to get hurt? I don't know. Just wondering.

Because when the away kit came out someone posted a graphic of what each kit was and when they would be revealed. The away kit was to be worn in the final home game. The Home kit revealed in August mid-july, probably for the tour.

Not really sure where to ask this question but I suppose it relates to this week’s match and our (former) chance of CL qualifying…

The Swans rested their Euro players. Why did they do that? Euros don’t start for a few weeks. I would assume they would get plenty of rest in that time? Did other teams do this?

You could look at any team, pick the worst 5 players and say they aren't good enough. It's easy to be right when you make assumptions.

10am start here in Toronto but I avoided the news waited all day to watch the match. Cannot believe what happened. So happy that it was just an error and a "fake" bomb. Must have been scary in the stadium not knowing what's happening.

Huge props to the stewards/staff for keeping it all organized.
