both teams played a month ago and drew 1-1 and since then both teams have been conceding alot of goals, except in each teams sole win, this gives me the impression that this will be a high scoring match with both teams having plenty of chance to score

Institute FC vs Ballnamallard United 2 @ 2.4(7/5)

Institute are the team trying to get promoted to the premiership, while Ballnamallard are trying to stay. they were unlucky to concede two late goals last week, meaning that they have to contest the playoff. Institute are also lucky to even contest the playoff as they finished fifth but the three of the teams above them did not get a championship license meaning that institute gets to contest the playoff. Therefore i think that Ballnamallard along with their former NI international will have enough to overcome the challengers.

Coleraine haven't won in 7, while Cliftonville haven't won in 3 so neither team has been playing well, but both will want a good result going into the leagues europa league playoffs and as cliftonville have the better squad they should win this. also if ballymena lose then cliftionvile will have a bye through to the final of the europa league playoffs.

Ballymena have to win and hope that Warrenpoint beat Dungannon in order to progress to the europa league playoffs, while portadown who have only won one match in their last eleven need to win to prevent dropping into the relegation playoff spot and draw to prevent themselves dropping into the relegation spot itself. Both teams have something to play for but portadown have been absolutely terrible recently and this should make it an easy win for ballymena

Warrenpoint Town Vs Dungannon Swifts 1@ 1.91(10/11)

Dungannon have nothing to play for despite being in the last europa league spot they failed to get a European License so will not be able to contest the playoff, while Warrenpoint need to win to escape the relegation playoff spot as a draw would not be enough due to their goal difference, and so with that extra motivation i feel warrenpoint will do the business today.

Second against Ninth and the bookies have once again incorrectly valued Derry City. Sligo got their first win of the season last week, however as Derry have not lost since the opening day, this should be an easy win after a hard fought 1-0 victory last week.

Wexford Youths Vs Finn Harps 2 @3.25 (9/4)

A riskier pick this, but one i would be willing to make none the less. Wexford have been very poor this season winning only one game. Finn Harps have been inconsistent, but have managed to beat the other teams at the bottom of the table giving me the feeling that they can pull this one off as well.

A big game in NI this weekend, a Belfast Derby and as such the home team is almost always more likely to win, this along with the fact that Linfield have been a much better team this season should see them through this match

Ballymena United Vs Ballinamallard United 1@ 1.75 (3/4)

Ballymena should win this game as they have the better team, however Ballinamallard are scrapping to avoid having to contest the relegation playoff and both are coming off heavy defeats mid-week and had victories last weekend. This would be my least confident of my picks but one that should pull through

Warrenpoint Town Vs Portadown 1@ 2.05 (21/20)

A win for Warrenpoint would help them move away from the automatic relegation spot and along with a Ballinamallard loss they would move out of the relegation playoff spot, after beating Ballymena 4-1 in their last game another win would help them towards "The Great Escape" after the team losing their first 13 matches this season and with their fate in their own hands across the last two fixtures I feel like they will keep their nerve

The win against Shamrock Rovers and the draw to Dundalk were really good results and gave me a good bit of confidence in them, it's just the fact that Derry can let you down, a bit like last week, but the football they have been playing has been of much higher quality this season

It's a tough one but I believe that they are more likely to win than to lose

Galway should walk this match as they are a much better team than Wexford, and the fact that their only losses this year, so far, have been against teams occupying the second and fourth positions in the table make me believe that they should have a good chance of winning this.

Crusaders Vs Linfield 2 @2.75 (7/4) First against second and both teams have had good results in their recent matches but Crusaders have been scraping results against some of the weaker sides while Linfield have comfortably won their last two matches 3-0 and 6-2 making me think that they might edge this one

Warrenpoint Town Vs Carrick Rangers 2 @3.00 (2/1) After beating the league leaders, Carrick have lost their last two matches 2-1 against good opposition while Warrenpoint sit at the foot of the table, although a win for them would move them a point clear of Carrick however I feel that Carrick will win this due to their good recent form

Back North after last nights longshot but what did we expect, those that went on Double chance were the real winners but lets look to the irish matches today

Linfield vs Lurgan Celtic -2EH @1.60(6/10)

Linfield should be winning this game very comfortably and won their last match 6-2. The team also hasn't won a trophy since the Co.Antrim Shield in 2013-14 so are hungry for some silverware.Linfield fans will expect alot of goals so as /u/FlamingBearAttack reckons it will be a high scoring affair.

Ballymena United vs Cliftonville 2@ 1.67(4/6)

Cliftonville haven't played in two weeks now (NI ignores the international Break) so will want to give their fans something to shout about and will also be looking to pick up points before the split next week, after which the top teams all play each other and so they will be looking to pick up easier points while they can and as such this should be an easy win

a Double would be 2.67 for those that would want to combine the two picks, but the braver may want to change the handicap for the Linfield match to -3 or -4 for even better odds

Dundalk vs Derry City 2@ 10.00(9/1)

Dundalk are rated as large favourites for this game and rightly so, Derry City were all over the place last season. However hthey have been shining brightly this campaign and sit second on goal difference in the table behind tonights opponents Dundalk, and while the bookies make Dundalk large favourites i feel like a small stake bet on this one may be worthwhile.

For those looking for a safer bet O2.5 almost always hits in LOIP games and 1.83 is good value for two free scoring teams going at it

Portadown have lost 5 of their last six and I expect their slide to continue with a loss against the Swifts

Another good bet would be an O2.5 double in the matches between Ballinamallard United vs Crusaders and Warrenpoint town vs Linfield @2.3 for the double as they are two of the leagues weaker sides playing two of the stronger teams
