I kind of think the goal highlights one the problem we have been having this season. There are so many things in that move where things could break down be it the ball into Mata, Mata's ball back to Martial, Martials ball in, Rashford choosing to step over or the shot. For most of the season when promising moves have been on the cards one of those parts hasn't been anywhere near perfect and the chance of the goal goes

I don't know why Van Gaal would play our strongest XI in a midweek game when we have an FA cup final at the weekend. They know they will start, and do not tire themselves or get injured. They won't be arsed to have any urgency in a meaningless game when they are guaranteed a place for the final. Should have at least included someone with something to prove so we could see some attacking intent.
