Schweinsteiger had barely played over the previous two seasons due to injury. Ibra is still fit. But for one year, you can't go wrong.

you can't go wrong.

You can't say this about any United transfer

Also, free transfer, no? Just paying for wages.

You can definitely go wrong.

I want Zlatan on the balance of probabilities but it has massive potential for disaster with an underperforming older player on too much money and status to drop (see Rooney)

Idiot lmao.

Schweinstieger was clearly not in his prime when we bought him, But Zlatan keeps getting better and better with age. He doesn't rely on pace, he relies on his amazing technique and physique to get into goal scoring positions. Totally different scenarios. He has scored 48 goals this season ffs, Only Ronaldo and Suarez have more.

If he comes here and get's 20-25 goals next season then it would be a brilliant signing, Rashford and Martial will no doubt learn lot's from him. Not to mention Ibrahimovic would break shirt sales record imo and we can market him to gain more revenues. This is a good short term deal that benefits all parties.

One led his team to a title and the other was injured and benched half the time?

Had Schweinsteiger just scored 38 league goals, no fee and a one year deal isn't much of a risk, even less so when he's still banging in goals for fun.

He has one of the best striking techniques in the game today can score from anywhere, we'd be stupid to not sign him imo.

Maybe you should check just how many games Zlatan has missed in his career due to injury.

The man is made of steel.
