There's going to be a bit of a rough period until the sub settles around them and we hash out any rough spots we run into to as we use these rules. These are a combination of several weeks of debate among the mods and the input everyone here provided here:

Each of these rules have a lot of logic and debate behind them that might not be immediately apparent to everyone so feel free to ask about them in this thread.

I moved this on the sidebar to be directly above the rules. This is our primary method used to determine what to enforce and when:

We provide a place on Reddit for conservatives, both fiscal and social, to read and discuss political and cultural issues from a distinctly conservative point of view.

I might move that into the rules section itself to make it more clear but unsure of that one yet. The goal here is to reduce clutter on the sidebar while still keeping the spirit of the sub alive. This is effectively the "Conservative subreddit for conservatives" line but changed a bit.
