With literally nothing to play for except an impossible 19-0 LVG better just throw caution to the wind and go for the jugular. If I see them passing back and forth in our own half for 5 minutes followed by a stupid pump upfield I'm gonna....tell him to fuck off on the Internet!

Really just want us to play youth. At this point, I would rather give them a run against Bournemouth, who will have a number of players on holiday. They should be able to grab a result, and if not, they will get valuable experience and LVG could claim a few more youth debuts before he likely leaves. Also, I want a fresh team for the FA Cup.

Im very curious about the Line-Up. We dont have anything to play for. We can clinch the Europa League spot instead of the Europa League qual. spot, and i dont really care about that tbh. I hope we play our reserves, to spare important players for the Cup Finale, but i dont know if LVG will do that. I would love to se Fosu-Mensah, Borthwick-Jackson, and Varela in the Lineup.

Premier league has announced that both clubs can pick anyone and don't have to stick to the 18 selected on Friday

Basically means both clubs can pick a reserve team out and will face no penalty

Also Bournemouth have said that several players had holidays booked from today so there's every chance they will have a second team out.

Well...Not exactly how we thought game day was going to go. But it's over now.

City unfortunately drew.

West Ham lost.

Southampton won.

This means that to finish 4th, we'd have to win 19-0.

A draw or a regular win and we finish 5th.

Defeat and we finish 6th, and we qualify for the Europa League.

No. City have better GD and goals scored. So 18-0 would equal their GD, but they'd be on top due to goals scored, even if we scored 18.

Are you asking about Europa League play-off? If so, 5th place gets group stage, 6th place gets 3rd qualifying round.

However, league finish might not mean anything, as FA cup winner gets group stage anyway (of course, we'd have to win it).
