I put my feet up when it's not busy. If you care this much about something so trivial, my comfort on a boring trip or the defined rules of some shite company, find a purpose in life. Also, come say something to my face and you will quickly realize how absurd your opinion is in an open forum.

Perhaps other people might think your claim of your comfort taking precedence over everyone is trivial? The irony in your message is ridiculous. Are you seriously arguing that your comfort trumps common decency? Say that out loud on a train while you have your feet on a seat and see if you don't feel a little tinge of self-awareness for how absurd your opinion is.

How are the heels of my shoes such a scary thing to you? You know you're breathing in human skin constantly, right? I'm not dancing in the rain and then kicking you in the face with my rain boots on, I'm resting my feet on a slab of plastic. It has quite literqlly zero effect on you at all. Way to get righteous about something that only registers on the inconvenience scale in the billionths because some corporation is trying to force feed you etiquette lessons. Do you cry when your friends come over and put their feet on your coffee table? I think it's safe to assume you don't even get that opportunity.

I wouldn't want extra wear on my assets as a business owner either. As a human being riding a train, I don't see an issue with placing my feet on a plastic seat under some shite fabric.
