I just wanted to say as an American fan that started supporting Manchester United because Rooney was the only player I knew. I love this small community on reddit and hope we smash Bournemouth whenever we play them. This community has helped me realize what it means to be a United fan. I'll stick with this team regardless of whether or not we fish 5th or 7th and I know that in the years that come the club will succeed; I believe we've set an extremely strong groundwork for the future. I started supporting United because we finished 7th and didn't want to support a top team as a bandwagon fan, but I'm sticking with my choice because this is the best team. Lets keep having a strong community on reddit and support the team regardless of what spot we finish. If we are in the Europa league then I guess we're gonna win that shit. Let's be great fans I love this team!!!

I started supporting United because we finished 7th and didn't want to support a top team as a bandwagon fan, but I'm sticking with my choice because this is the best team.

That was literally the first time we were out of the top 4 in almost 2 decades or so... Not really "because I didn't want to support a top team" moment really because despite that, United still were and are a very, very big club.

In any case, watch the games and hopefully there's more to enjoy next season and maybe 4 shots on target more often than not too!

In retrospect I realuze this. I started watching when we were in a slump with moyes and knew literally nothing about English football.

Yeah I just found it a very weird thing to mention because if you've been heard about football, you'd have heard about Manchester United in general with how big they are and their recent forays into America and all that. Just like I know about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls maybe if that's accurate enough or the LA Lakers more so recently with Kobe etc. Or Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Just found it was an odd thing to mention 7th as a bad thing when it was really the first real blemish in decades. Haha.

Anyway, you'll find the off season here to be more active with discussions and all hopefully with more positivity as change is expected and hoped for by many. Stick around a bit more to notice it and learn about more players and tactics/football in general etc. That's how you pick up and of course by watching games too and all.

And now that Fa cup final- please oh please let's win it!
