Who believes we should seriously consider winning Europa League next season ? (self.reddevils)

I know that a lot of people don't care about it but winning it actually guarantees a spot in the CL next season. Keeping in mind how competitive EPL has become, finishing in top 4 is not guaranteed to us anymore.

If we start directly in the group stage and strengthen our depth, I wouldn't mind fielding quite a few first team players. But honestly our priority must be on the league next season with Mourinho (god willing he comes.)

Well I think it depends on what we do this summer. I know I'll be seriously disappointed if cbj, fosu mensah, rashford, Memphis, etc don't get on the field much. The only reason they got a decent amount of time this season was because of our unholy amount of injuries. So I think we need to get them involved in games in some capacity next season and the best place for that may be the europa league.

I do. Many fans seem to think that arrogance is a virtue and a part of being a Manchester United fan, but I find it ridiculous that we should think of ourselves as being 'above' a European competition. Considering our play this season, the Europa League is the tournament we deserve to be in anyway. We should treat it with respect and go out to win it.

I don't necessarily mean that we should put our first team out there for every match. Hopefully next season our squad will be strong and deep enough that we don't need to for the group stages. However, if and when we get to the knockout rounds I think we should absolutely treat it as a priority.

Considering we couldn't even beat Liverpool this year, highly unlikely we'll come close to winning it next season.
