L'Equipe reports a link between PSG and Martial (self.reddevils)

As title says, French newspaper L'Equipe reports this morning that PSG is thinking about Anthony Martial to build up their team newt year after Ibrahimovic confirmed he was going to leave this summer. They also say that PSG wants to keep Cavani and buy Griezmann in order to build a Griezman-Cavani-Martial front line up. They just mention an interest, nothing confirmed, but L'Equipe is quite a reliable source. (Sorry for my english, french United fan here).

He could want to leave too not that there are any indications of course. But I mean... That's the main difference as one seemingly doesn't want to while di Maria "didn't want to/I don't think as such(as he said himself)" so yeah.

And after Hummels being a hypocrite and then giving a simple "I want a new challenge" bullshit, I honestly don't take anything any player says with too much weight now.

And martial also got separated recently and all.. Could well be reasons. Of course he might just tell PSG to suck a bollock instead but I'm just saying, you never know these days. Gone are the days of scholes and neville etc and especially so since we aren't doing well on the field too.

But we kept De Gea despite his wanting to leave. I'm just not sure, this year at least, that Martial would have much of a say in it.

Well we did because of a technical error. He'd have been a madrid player otherwise. Different situations again.

I don't think martial is thinking of leaving for real now at least. Or at least, I hope so.

We accepted a loss on di Maria, albeit semi warranted though and different circumstances. But damn did we seemingly cave quite easily and not get more from that sale.

I think that's because Di Maria was in his prime and definitely did not perform to his price tag, where as Martial has exceeded expectations for his age and first season.

They [PSG] have apparently sounded out members of Martial' entourage if he would be interested, nothing more.

For what it's worth, Martial is thought to be "happy" at Manchester United.

Money talks bullshit walks. If PSG want Martial they will have to cover at the very least the £60m we paid (including add-ons) and then a fair chunk on top.

For me this is a nothing story, they won't pay it and Martial has a long term contract.

They are the main sport dedicated newspaper in France. Usually they are reliable, way more than "Le 10 Sport" for instance. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen though, that's what they say. I'm not quite convinced myself, PSG seems to be in a looking-for-everything mood right now, though Martial is coming from Paris and might have an interest in coming back home.

This is nice and all, but here's what I see: a player happy at United, playing well, and able to milk some of these speculations for a pay raise during the summer. Especially if he leaves his mark at the Euros. Welcome to the well paid club, Anthony
