What are the chants that are usually sung during the matches? Going to be at the Stretford end for my first ever match tomorrow! :)

Hmm, we have probably the biggest repertoire of songs in the league so it's hard to tell you what you'll need to learn if you want to sing along.

Some definite ones:

  • 20 times
  • U-N-I-T-E-D
  • Go on the piss with Georgie Best
  • From the banks of the Irwell
  • We are the Manchester Boys
  • Manchester Calypso
  • Hello, hello, we are the Busby boys
  • My old man
  • The Busby Babes

Oh, and you'll definitely hear She Wore a Scarlet Ribbon, and probably Que Sera Sera.

Every song you want to learn will be sung at the pubs pre match. Sam Platts and The Tradford for sure. If you are lucky enough to get into the Blaize check it out. Red Sqaure is also worth a look.
