Adidas also helped to increase merchandise revenue by 200% versus this time last year. All in one of the worst periods of Man United football. What is to be made of this?

It's more than just the performance, everything that made us so loved and hated seems to have been erased. Only a handful of players seem to care the rest are totally defeated, no spirit no nothing. If I see a headline confirming LVG for another year I think I will have a nervous breakdown. He's killing our football and the board doesn't care because the numbers are healthy.

the numbers being healthy means our team is healthy. football is above all, a business. look at how wages correlate with performance. as long as we stay a financial giant, we will eventually reach the top again. if our finances start to suffer, we will die

It's only a matter of time before our present day results start reflecting our financial reports. Sure there will be small dips but we can't stay like this forever. We need to start performing right and bringing in wins. Whether it's with Van Gaal or not I hope the board can at least see the need for change.

Adidas increase is due to being a new kit, I doubt they even expected it to go that well.

Match day has only increased because of the Champions League and FA cup run, more home games than last season.

The worrying situation would be if we missed out on Champions League next season as our Adidas deal's value gets halved :(
