Blanc managing United (self.reddevils)

Wouldn't we all prefer Laurent Blanc managing United over Giggs or Mourinho?

I'd certainly fancy the Portugeuse going to PSG to have Larry White back here.

Especially as Blanc would have the Quieroz effect on Martial and further motivate him to stay longer.

Blanc was a classy servant of the club, albeit briefly, and tactically he seems quite sharp.

For me this is a no-brainer, but I never hear anyone suggest it.

Frankly, I can't think of another manager I'd want at United MORE than Blanc.

He signed an extension through to 2018 recently, is managing a PSG side that is full of quality and is making positive strides to being a major force in Europe.

Blanc was pretty good at Bordeaux, granted, but he's easily second choice to Mourinho. Easily.

You can't say he's that good as he's been managing that PSG team that would have pissed the league if I had been in charge. He needs tested. Look what happened against City. His tactics were awful.

Blanc isn't on the same level. On any form of measurement. Even the main argument against Mourinho which is not playing Youth.

Blanc opted to pay 50m for David Luis (who's second rate as a CB anyway imo), over one of the best young CBs in football. I would bet money that give Mourinho his PSG team and he would've won the Champions league at least once in the time.

I'd rather Giggs than Blanc. It shouldn't even be a discussion though, Mou is far and above the best manager available and will help us bring in bigger names.

Blanc is a good manager but not a great manager. In a league full of giants we wouldn't compete with him at the helm. I'd rather take a gamble on Giggs than settle for mediocrity with Blanc. Again though, this shouldn't even be a discussion. If anybody but Mou is managing United next season, I really fear for where we're heading as a club.

Blanc is a great man and a good but unproven manager. I took huge pleasure in watching him at United.

Maureen is a serial winner though. And it could be that he builds a dynasty here.

Last time I checked Mourinho got run out of Chelsea after an absolutely diabolical start to his most recent season, completely losing the dressing room. Best manager in the world? You're supported the wrong club, kid, from wherever the hell you're from.
