Wouldn't we all prefer Laurent Blanc managing United over Giggs or Mourinho?

I'd certainly fancy the Portugeuse going to PSG to have Larry White back here.

Especially as Blanc would have the Quieroz effect on Martial and further motivate him to stay longer.

Blanc was a classy servant of the club, albeit briefly, and tactically he seems quite sharp.

For me this is a no-brainer, but I never hear anyone suggest it.

Frankly, I can't think of another manager I'd want at United MORE than Blanc.

Blanc was pretty good at Bordeaux, granted, but he's easily second choice to Mourinho. Easily.

He signed an extension through to 2018 recently, is managing a PSG side that is full of quality and is making positive strides to being a major force in Europe.

Rumors of Mourinho to PSG have about as much weight as Mourinho to United so I don't see how anything you just said is relevent

No they don't. Articles and high tiered sources about Mourinho coming to United outweigh him going to PSG about 50:1

Also, Mourinho was fired in december. Blanc signed a new deal in February.

It is clear that you want Blanc to be Utd's new manager, which is fine, but you seem to be ignoring some facts just to suit your ideal narrative.

He just signed a 2 year extension at PSG and I don't see him leaving or being sacked anytime soon

I'd rather Giggs than Blanc. It shouldn't even be a discussion though, Mou is far and above the best manager available and will help us bring in bigger names.

Blanc is a good manager but not a great manager. In a league full of giants we wouldn't compete with him at the helm. I'd rather take a gamble on Giggs than settle for mediocrity with Blanc. Again though, this shouldn't even be a discussion. If anybody but Mou is managing United next season, I really fear for where we're heading as a club.

How is Blanc a mediocre manager? How could anyone who's been a United fan for the last decade (a stretch, I'm sure, regarding some or most of you) want the former Chelsea manager at the helm? And I'm not going out on a limb by saying Fergie wouldn't prefer it either

Blanc is a great man and a good but unproven manager. I took huge pleasure in watching him at United.

Maureen is a serial winner though. And it could be that he builds a dynasty here.

Mourinho cares as much about United as he does about any other big club that will throw money at him. Blanc is the better man, for me
