This post is just everything beautiful about a shitpost. That the short, vague, non-descriptive title is chosen perfectly to draw in those poor cunts who still believe in thought-provoking and fresh discussion on the internet. That the actual post more or less reiterates everything that has been said on this topic since January. And of course the fact that, at the end of the day, this withered attempt at a karma grab has contributed the equivalent of negative fucks to any of our lives.

Let me try to add something to this thread to make it worthwhile.

Memphis probably got hit hard by the culture and the massive expectations of being in the EPL. He started off decent, yes he lost the ball quite a bit but he was making actions and running at people like most of us expected him to. After the loss of luke shaw due to injury and the lack of a propper cover for him he had to produce more om the defensive area and thats his major weakness. I've never seen memphis actually willing to play defense, bar a few games. He always has his mind set on counter attacking which causes him to lose his man and create an opening. Because Rojo/CBJ arn't as good as Luke Shaw this became more evident. The rise of Anthony Martial didn't help his cause either.

Why do I believe that Memphis has potential? He started of decent, he has the body to be able to ward people off and he has to make use of this, and there's been a couple of International games where he played really well, check out the game against spain.

I'm sure that if United was defensively better, and in a better situation, he'd still be starting and would have found his groove by now. Let's hope the club gives him assurance that he'll stay next year so he can work on his game, watch film and be able to fix his deficiencies.
