At what point does Authoritarianism become a better solution?

The natural evolution is democracy -> corruption -> authoritarianism -> tyranny -> rebellion -> republic (if you're lucky)

We need to tell people democracy is the enemy. People cannot be trusted to vote to protect their own rights. The American electorate should be focused like a laser beam on the House of Representatives, and hold their representative accountable if government isn't working perfectly. As it is, the representatives pretend they are powerless and try to get the electorate to focus on the presidential election or the supreme court.

A congressman represents about 600,000 people.

If they were to work, non-stop even on the sabbath and with out sleeping, to talk to each person they represent, they would have to talk to 821 people a day. That is about two people per minute.

Because of how our republic is set up, There is absolutely no way that a congressman can listen to his constituents. Beyond that, most Americans don't even vote.

We need to have more congressmen because it is impossible for me and my neighborhood to have any influence over what my congressman does.

None of that should be really surprising to anyone. At least someone can come out and just say it out loud though.
