Or robben. Ronaldinho at his peak was untouchable but he dropped off in 06. Robben would have meant a world class winger for over a decade.

robben a great shout. Ronaldinho was just beautiful to watch though. Robben was too, but even if only for a short time i'd have loved to see Ronaldinho breaking ankles in the red shirt. He was the absolute master!

You can see how long some of these people have followed United when all of them aren't saying Ronaldinho or Ronaldo. The biggest missed signing of SAF's career except for Ronaldo if you ask me.

Fabregas in summer 2013. We so badly needed a creative midfielder for that team to take us forward. I also wanted to steal another former gooner captain haha.

It's also when I realised either Moyes or Ed Woodward was a incompetent muppet. I mean who the heck bids for Fabregas after they already sold Thiago to Bayern. They were never going to let both of them leave. Why didn't we just go for Fabregas earlier when they would have happily sold him to us if we did. Because then they would be able to offer Thiago more game time anyway and keep him.

Modric preferred a move to Madrid, Fergie didn't want to pay the agents fee on top of the the original price for Hazard and I have no idea about Sneijder. We could of had Aguero but Fergie didn't want to pay 38m for him. As much as I hate the Glazers for what they've done you can't put that on them.

Mats Hummels its been clear that United needed new centre-backs since the departures of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. Sure Smallings is great, but we need 2 in our system. Hummels was within their grasp over the summer of 2014 - they tried to include him in the deal for Shinji Kagawa - and even January 2015, but a transfer never materialised.
