So first of all, hello! I know, I know... we hate each other. It's awful. I'm awful. You and I, we're like France and Britain in the early 1400's, constantly at each other's throats, except one of us is awesome and the other one is you. Anyway! I realize you, in your giant mindflower from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, all collectively think philosophers are idiots, and by extension, philosophy mods are idiots. Believe me, I can relate.

In spite of all that, I do hope we can set our adorable yet spirited rivalry aside for a moment so I can bemoan the ultimate internet terror known as brigading.

Incidentally, in an effort to endear myself to you, I want to point out that I spent some time defending /r/samharris against accusations of this most heinous act, which I did because I genuinely didn't think it was happening. I managed to do so with a level of snark I am certain that you will be able to appreciate.

Unfortunately, it seems I was a bit hasty in this assessment. I find myself doubting that our regular users, or those not visiting via /r/samharris, upvoted this comment or this one. It seems like maybe, possibly, a couple of those are coming from you.

While I certainly have no problem with you "people" linking to us, the apparent brigading is a teensy bit obnoxious, so I was wondering if maybe one of you could be a dear and kindly remind your "people" that this behavior is a no-no? I'm not aware of people from /r/badphilosophy doing this to any noticeable degree (even though we're four times your size), but even so, when your sub (or any sub) gets linked, I try to point out that this is against Reddit's rules, is considered poor reddiquette, and I encourage our master race not to do this, lest the ghost of /u/cupcake1713 become restless and hungry for blood once more. Regardless, if you do notice this happening, please don't hesitate to tell us.

I, one true king of all bad philosophy, may loathe you with a passion unimaginable by thy mortal ken, but even on you I would not wish brigading on.
