Let's imagine that Wayne Rooney leaves next year for whatever reason you can think of. If that happens who would be our poster boy for United? (Ie. Ronaldo for Madrid, Messi for Barca, Reus for Dortmund, Aguero for City). De Gea? Has a goalkeeper even been the main man of a team? The only one I can think of are Casillas and Buffon). Martial, Depay or Rashford? They're still pretty young and they just arrived at the club (except for Rashford). Schweinsteiger? I still think of him as the main man of Bayern so I don't think that history can be erased from him. This question is not to be taken too serious, thought just randomly popped in my head.
