Translated into english lyrics, a few pictures included. I also know that I've made a few mistakes. On some of the words, there's and 'e' missing. Sorry 'bout that. ^^;
Song: Rise Artist: Origa
Thank you everyone for your awesome comments. I appreciate it.
+FeatherStorm yeah because i watched the movie first and i had no idea what the fuck was going on
the 1st gig will introduce everything in the series better
the movie just fucks with you
+fennofir As one laughing man to another, I liked them both, respectively. But yeah, if I were to say which one to watch first, watch the series and THEN the movie, or you may not know what exactly is happening. :P
+FeatherStorm best cyberpunk anime series go anidb for detailed info and complete all ;) cheers from poland. When you end look Armitage III poly and dualmatrix 2 movie and tv series you see cyborg sailor moon coz Women create that 2 anime.
can't believe this wonderful artist died a week ago and i just discover her angelic voice just today u.u RIP Origa, your music is so touching and beautiful
+Type Game 2 days ago my throne room was vibrating with this sound...those who didnt like end up headless. Luckily my executor was pretty free that
day and had plenty of time for
those 177 executions ... Those stupid peasants, my god...no sense of
taste whatsoever...
May the light of the HYPE GODS shine upon the soul of ORIGA... Long live me, Your king!
Does anyone know how she died...?(I just found out just now & i'm hoping somebody just got their story wrong...)
i will never forget in very first time i heard this song & how amazing her voice sounded :'-(
After all those years...this song still bring chills up my spine(But in a good way...Rip Miss Origa)
+e x l e n s i c I can see why you feel that way, but follow the lyrics and you'll see that the song describes cultivating courage and hope in the teeth of war... It would be great if we didn't have to do that, but millions of people do. It's better than giving up!

+Sarah Melchior Thing is that the same treatment on two patients with the same type of cancer will affect them two different ways. And cancer isn't just one disease it's literally hundreds... 'cancer' is just an umbrella term much like 'truck' covers many kinds of vehicles.
she had the best voice on the planet I loved to listen to her for hours and hours everyday when I was younger I still love to hear her songs now tho I have herd them like a million times
Ive never knew the who dod the song for ghost in the shell till now an I've been watching the show for a long time the voice of an angel Origa You will be missed
Beautiful voice from such a talented singer we will forever miss. The moment I first watched the series, instantly wanted the soundtrack. Thank you Origa.
Dont really watch anime much but I know good music when I hear it. It only fuels the fire I have for music when I see so many people paying respect to , at least at first in MY mind, was an obscure artist.
Much respect for all of the respect you people have. It doesn't matter where you find the music, as long as you let it amp you
every day
every day
+Daisuke Soto I heard its somewhere in 2016 afterall 1st 33 chapters are the 1st season and the manga is already on the 67th chapter so I will say its sooner then expected.
+Mau Jo Doesn't matter if she is alive, they could use the song, just need to get the rights to it is all. Which they could do, but then again I would rather see them use something similar to what they did in the first season, not Rise. Rise works with GITS SAC for me and would be a bit of a meh thing to see in AoT.
I deeply love this opening. It`s so unfortunate to hear that this wonderful talented artist passed away. Rest in Peace. So sorry I didn`t hear about this sooner. I only just found this out recently via the comments and I`m still shocked over the fact that Monty Oum also died this year recently as well.
I can't believe how a show I watched as kid on MTV made me give a serious fuck about somebody dying.
That's as morbid a seal of quality as it can get.....
this is not a Origa song, she is just providing the vocals. the composer was Yoko Kanno please properly credit this song to the creator... and RIP Origa i mean no disrespect to Origa or the OP.
WAIT WAIT WAIT she died, wow this a huge loss, her voice was so beautiful, this is so shitty, a beautiful voice like her just dissapears, God bless her soul
This video is nice but spelling is incorrect in some areas of the video. You should take some time through next time in reviewing before posting your video @VampireDidae- Lots of views yet little subscribers? Well nonetheless, congrats on the 2 mil viewers.
I can't believe that she passed away last month... I wanted to meet her.. All I knew was that she had been a work project of South Korea's game music project, and I watched that on youtube by chance.. R.I.P and I will miss your misty lovely voice.
I think we should dub 2015 as Year of the Falling Star. Look at the mortality rate of talented and skillful ppl in the first 2 months! We've lost Monty Oum, Otto Carius, AND Origa! Terrifying indeed!
An angels voice of the earth is now among the angels voices of heaven her voice will sing on for ever. Rest in peace dearest lady thank you so much for your angelic voice you will be greatly missed.
R.i.p Origa. One of the songs that I love dearly. I still remembering staying up late at night just to hear it before I went to bed. You will never be forgotten.
ojala este en donde quiera estar haciendo lo que le gusta, que creo yo que es estar cantando, quiza sea el susurro que oigo bajo los frondosos arboles.
Очень жаль что Ольга ушла так рано, хотя могла бы подарить миру ещё много офигенных песен и саундтреков покойся с миром Орига/Very sas that Olga left us so early, she could present us so many baddass songs and anime soundtracks R.I.P. Origa
They (supposedly) are making another GiTS anime. Keep in mind that this info comes from google translating some Japanese anime forum so they've might as well talking that they'd like to get another gig ;). Anyway from what I saw there it is based on same continuity that first 2 series are based on, not the ovas and (again, take this with grain of salt) Tachikomas make return (they had backups or something ;))

Oh, I think tanks will be there. Remember those they enter at back of 2nd gig? And since it is from what I heard (if the rumor is true) based in the same continuum...
+roxyroxas1313 Yeah, but Gits is like one of those high caliber, top notch, stand the test of time shows that you can always go back to. ARISE has been alright but it is mostly unmemorable feels like watching one of the lesser filler episodes of SAC but 60 minutes long. Still better than most anime released but still unfortunate.
The SAC filler episodes where also top notch. If you look back at them many great themes where in them. Arise on the other hand feels like a spin off of gits. Like a spin off with ok writers, but it could have been better. :/ Still its nice to have more gits.

RIP, Origa. We will miss your amazing voice forever. You are the only and best singer of the Ghost in the shell. I can't think of the movie of it without your song. Your voice was completely integrated with the world of the Ghost in the Shell.
若すぎる死に惜しんでも惜しみ切れません。攻殻機動隊の映画にもあの美しい歌声を披露してくれるかと思っていたのに…そう思うほどOrigaの歌声と作品の世界観が完璧に融合していました。ありがとうOriga。
It's so sad to see this news. I really loved her voice, and unlike most music nowadays, I think she made real music I could listen to even years after I first listened to it. I hope she's in a better place. Rest in peace, Origa. You were and are still amazing.
RIP Origa. Your themes to Ghost in the shell was always brought a wonderful technological magic that had something of a deeper feeling to it, godspeed.
