I mean in an ideal world they draw 0-0 and then both get thumped 10-0 on the last day so we can jump over both of them into 3rd.

But pragmatically speaking an Arsenal win's probably for the best.

Ideally, it would be 1-1. If both Cech and Hart concede, De Gea will have a higher chance of getting the Golden glove, if what I've read on this sub is correct.

i really would rather the headlines stop being about the goalie being our best player.

nothing against de gea, but that's a really low/non priority.

    Spurs dropping points would actually be to our favour. If Spurs lost today, it'd definitely inspire Arsenal more to win both their games, giving them loads of chance to finish in 2nd, above them. Arsenal can guarantee their CL position this week, or next, so there's a chance they may not "care" quite as much today. If they could finish ahead of Spurs, though, they should be more motivated, which obviously is what we'd like.

    Made a simple excel sheet to play around with the points. It seems if Arsenal lose against City and win against Villa, we would have to hope that City draws or loses against Swansea and we win against West Ham and Bournemouth.
