Where is Young? (self.reddevils)

After that game where he played striker, Young seemed to have disappeared. He wasnt in the U-21 game today so I'm assuming its injuries but I've never seen any reports on him. and Shaw is coming back this FA CUP final I suppose?

He's not much of an impact player and he won't start ahead of Martial.

I would, however, play him at LB. I think that could be very good for us.

I think Young would be useful to have on the bench, Lingard can have ineffective games and Young could be of use. Or at left back like you say

I don't think Young's great at RW and I don't think he has a huge impact either at unlocking a stubborn defence.

He provides a lot of energy for pressing, making runs and tracking back, has world class crosses and good set pieces.

None of these skillsets are useful as an impact player. All of this is attritional low percentage stuff that only yields results when done repeatedly over a long period of time.

He either needs to start or there's no point bringing him on.

Who the heck knows? With LVG it's anyone's guess who plays what games, what position, and what formation. It wouldn't be such a problem if it fooled the opponents as well.
