The struggle is real. This is like the 3rd time I've seen SSRI induced impotence being brought up in the metasphere today...

I haven't been on them for about 4 years but I'm considering going back on Sertraline. I don't really plan on being sexually active any time soon so I suppose the difficulty reaching orgasm wouldn't be as big of a deal tbh

I'm on Venlafaxine rn and it actually hasn't affected me sexually, I was crapping myself before going on them too

Sertraline was crap for me, made things worse tbh, you had a better experience?

Sertraline was the first one I tried and I stuck with it because the only side effect was stubborn cummies. I felt amazing otherwise. Being able to last really long isn't necessarily a bad thing as a top though so all involved parties were happy at the time.

Oh my god, I really feel for you if you ever stop taking venla. I had the most awful withdrawal symptoms from it for like two weeks, puking and shaking nonstop :/ (now trying to re-introduce myself to sertraline but the nausea is too much for me, plus I can't stand the "stubborn cummies" as /u/Salchicha put it so eloquently)

I've actually already reduced my dose. Hopefully I don't get those symptoms if I do stop 😟

I hope so too! I would get the same symptoms without a days dose, so I went so far with reducing the dose I opened the capsules and took those smaller pills in the capsule... Didn't work either! Have you tried anything else, other than venla and sertraline?
