This was the day that Liberty died.

When children reign, they make us hide.

Police were we… denial’s pride.

So blind were we to what’s inside.

This need we cry is need to some,

Affirmation for everyone.

Equality’s only equality of outcome,

Our fists we raise as one.

Unbroken by the quartermast,

We form a line to break our cast.

The days of opportunity have past,

No more, this fragile ‘pocrasy.

Cast off the chains! and give ‘em hell!

The ones who hate can go as well!

Objectified, demonized, no part of ourselves

Reflected in the evil we religiously dispel.

But can this be, our naked groundswell

The movement as underground as overhead

We’ll shake the earth as the bodies fall,
