Chelsea is now at 9th place, 48 points with 3 matches to go. The maximum points this season they can get is 57.

6th place is West Ham with 59 points and 7th is Southampton with 57 points with better GD.

This means that they are confirmed to equal and pretty much confirmed* to beat Moyes's "record" with the worst Premier League title defense to date!

*the only way they can be 7th and not beat our record is if Chelsea win all games and both Soton/Liverpool win none from this point, and cover 6 GD difference with Soton.

Yes but they have a much better set of squad players than us and will get a young, motivated manager in Antonio Conte next season. Plus they will spend big in the summer on strengthen.

They will probably be at equal odds to us next season to win the league.

They are very good at hitting the ground running after sacking a manager whereas we still haven't recovered from Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement (makes us look so incompetent when you mention it).

I just find it amazing how their youth squads can win so much yet none of their youngsters get a chance. This is where we are miles better.

So overall if you asked me objectively who will have a better squad between us and them, I would say they have a better squad.

We were preparing it since his 2001 u-turn. We were caught with our pants down with that and it was said it wouldn't happen again.
