Not entirely sure what you're asking...are you saying for example there's plenty of evidence that the moon landing was faked and is a conspiracy, and should be questioned more?

I'm just saying, if you told most people that you thought the moon landing was fake, they'd lose their minds. Even though nobody who says it happened could have personally witnessed it themselves first hand. So why defend something so much?

I'm saying stuff that people defend, even when there's strong evidence against it, or they couldn't verify it themselves.

Well you're basically saying everything in history...I wasn't around when the Romans were, Shakespeare was, dinosaurs were dicking about or anything else before the 80s. That doesn't mean I have complete faith in the Eurythmics, Wham! and little else.

If someone told me they thought the moon landing was fake I'd either doubt they truly thought that and they were just trying to be subversive, or I'd guess they hadn't properly researched it and instead agreed instantly with the flimsy evidence others have provided which the vast majority of the time comes after the event, people who decide something and then actively seek evidence or the opportunity to skew things out of context to fit their view.

There's plenty of conspiracies that are more well accepted, probably the widest being revolving around JFK.
