We went to a school for gifted children to advertise and talk about our event!

We visited a 3rd grade classroom… and…

We explained about our event on the 26th…

Tech Stand :“Do you have any questions about the event?”

A boy in class: “Does making the prototype mean you could actually make the prototype of the CO2(water) detecting drones for conserving the forests?”

Tech Stand :“yes if there’s a technology that’s available to make that drone. ”

The boy already had an idea in his mind. We were there to advertise the event. Nothing was planned and he already had an idea. The boy’s parents probably take him to a lot of  tech events like (one of them might be Maker Faire Bay Area) and teach him a lot of Technology and use a lot of professional words including “prototypes.”in conversations!

This school is a kind of school where half of the parents in each class works at companies like Google.  And this is already extraordinary. And of course their children are getting the highest education they can receive at this school and the boy’s question proves it! This school was established by parents with gifted children. In a short time after establishing the school it’s already an elementary and a middle school. There’s more than 100 students learning at this school. There are so many parents who have strong desires for high quality education for their child and we think this is one of the characteristics seen in Silicon Valley parents.

What Tech Stand won’t support…

1, Tech Stand won’t be supporting children who has his/her goal as “winning a prize”

We support Talents who expresses/present their desire, feelings and thoughts for their idea at an exhibition or at an event.

Maybe as a result there might be participants who receives a prize!

2,  We won’t be supporting children who doesn’t feel thankful about he/she being supported by our program.

The Tech Stand  Program is here to help  because we have/had many supporters including, Individual Sponsors, Company Sponsors,and volunteers

3,  We won’t be supporting Children who aren’t supportive to our Program.

We expect the children to follow the rules and support us to have less problems

4,  We won’t be supporting any parents or adults who have strong desires for their child to  participate and have an experience.

We expect that the participant truly “Wants” to do their Project.

* “Talents” is a word I created and it means children who has hidden talents
