Hi Everyone!
Greetings from Bora Bora!
Well... sorry we couldn't help ourselves. In all due seriousness though, our team has been working hard on the final tweakings of Arist. As usual, our R&D lab is filled with sleep-deprived hardware engineers and spilled coffee beans all over the office floor. Fortunately, things are looking great and we are still very much on schedule for July!
We have also been working on processing refunds as of last week. Per our previous announcements on refund requests, we have received around 50 backers’ requests and our team is pushing through the last stage of finalising the refund details with these backers. More importantly, amidst the crowd asking for refund, we’ve also received several emails from backers hoping to cancel their refund requests! At this stage of our campaign, their restored faith in our project means so much to us.
That’s all for now folks! A big surprise is coming up so stay tuned for the next update!
See you soon!

(this update was fine for me, amusing little hey we're still on it - but sure, others here have a point too - next one let's have some photos of the development process please :)

Two years isn't an excessively long time to spend developing a (reasonably complex hardware product - the consumer electronics industry has a yearly cycle, occasionally products aren't good enough and have to go back into the development system and make a comeback in a tweaked form the following year. That's what it looks like here - too many unexpected challenges the first time round, so it's taking 2y instead of 1.
And unlike some things on here, a coffee machine isn't the kind of thing that becomes obsolete, or you no longer want because a competitor released a better/faster/more-memory version - so really, it doesn't matter (for me, at least) if we get it this year or next..
I'd much rather have a good product, than have it sooner.

This is no update. Will we EVER get anything from this scam??

Glad to hear guys. Just ignore all the haters who don't understand how Kickstarter works, and keep doing what you do.
I may have missed something amidst all the hate spam; what is on track for July?

This update tells us… nothing. Please keep us seriously updated what you're working on right now and how your progress looks like.

Dragon I'm just tired of the crappy updates, and not showing any effort in a real update. We keeping told something good is about to happen and then we get crap like this

Glad its going well!
There are so many people on here who really shouldn't be, if you cant risk loosing your money don't use Kickstarter! If you can't risk your pledge being 2 years late (assuming you get it at all) don't use kickstarter! If you are the sort of person who can't cope with updates that don't show what you want to see or say what you want to hear, don't use Kickstarter!
