i'm glad you guys got rid of the lmaoboxers. lazy bastards made the game so boring to get spawncamped by a heavy who locks on to you.

i'll admit, i got vac'd as well. not 'cause I used lmaobox, but cause i used SAM over a year ago.

nice to see valve doing stuff for the community, though. first cosmetic updates, then reviving hydro, now permanently getting rid of lmaobox? it's like a dream come true! sucks they took me down too, i'd have loved to enjoy playing the game without snipers locking on to my head as soon as i left spawn.

SAM? I use that a lot and I haven't recieved a VAC on any account I own. (Assuming we are talking about Steam Achievement Manager)

weird. i guess it's just select people that are getting vac'd. i have some friends who use it and got vac'd, and some friends who don't use it and got vac'd.

either that, or i got vac'd for some other reason. it might be because i used animation overhaul, and i've never been vac'd in my life until i updated to the patch where animation overhauls are okay.

Using SAM (Steam Achievement Manager) is not forbidden, so you don't receive VAC ban if you use it. Only if you don't visit VAC-secured servers, of course.

Those people are liars who don't want to admit they cheat. SAM is an extremly popular tool that existed for years and Valve didn't ban a single person for it nor do they detect it.

Total lie. Me and my friends have used SAM on multiple games and haven't been punished whatsoever. It's just a correlation/coincidence that cheaters tend to use SAM as well, and don't want to say they were cheating
