That's a good question.

Morbid curiosity was part of it. I wondered what it felt like to be a god. The extreme reactions that I got was what continued to interest me. Cheating in and of itself is very boring if you've ever played the game competitively. Everyone once in a while when I was queing matchmaking, I would get people that ran vac meds and try to outsmart me. I think that would be anyone's biggest mistake, to try and beat a cheater. Because not only are you giving them the reaction, you're also giving them a "challenge".

I doubt he hacked, since that takes research and skill. What he did was use a cheat someone else made.

Hack is the faster way of writing "script kiddie", and you can't really say "cheater", because that would imply he's using some kind of dev tool to break the rules.

Actually, hack would imply some sort of dev tool was used, because that's what hacking means: creating a piece of software against some other program to do what it never was intended to do.

Cheating is just using someone else's exploits. Whether they're pre-made (god mode, give all) or via a trainer.

A dev tool is something that was left in the game for the devs to use, good example is the console command "powerplay".

Dev tool usually means something used to develop with, like an IDE, or a compiler. But I guess the console could be counted as such as well.

I used LMAOBox on an alt account to grind matchmaking. I tied that account to the phone number my main is tied to.

I am not happy my main got banned, but I accept it. I broke the rules, and I'm being punished for it.

To answer your question. I was playing TF2 and got disconnected from the Valve pub I was playing on.
