Need help regarding upgrading/sharing season tickets. (self.reddevils)

So basically I have a 18-20 season ticket and I'm planning on giving it to a friend who is 25. Will I need to upgrade/inform United at all to pay extra? I remember last season I always used to get a text asking if I wanted to upgrade a few days before the game but haven't had one this season. Any help is appreciated, think I can just give it him and he'll get in?

As long as your friend looks youngish then it should be fine. Hard to differentiate between people in their early twenties anyway. However if he looks like Diego Costa then it ain't worth it I guess.

They know what type of ticket it is when you scan it into the turnstile. If you want to be risk free or above board then you'll have to upgrade it.

Staff get told to watch out for things like this. Depends how old he looks. If he looks middle aged, he might get stopped.
