MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) isn't something that people hate in general, either on this sub, TBP or elsewhere. If a man, or group of men, believe they can be better people or live happier lives by not being involved with women that's their choice. People have not coupled since the dawn of time. Go for it.

The problem with the movement, like most of the trash that crawls out of online "men's issue forums" is that it's not actually about that in practice at all. It's about hating on women. Talking about how entitled men are to getting women, how society will fall apart if the institution of marriage crumbles (not an exaggeration, it's the often proposed natural consequence of their philosophy).

MGTOW's are the type to talk about how Elliot Rogers is women's fault. And I do mean "women's." They collectively, in almost every case, refer to all women as this single entity. Women do this, women do that. It's bizarre, deranged and desperate.

The most common refrain about MGTOW you'll hear in an area populated by a plurality or more of women is simply, "Great, go already." But they don't. They never go.

They just keep talking about how sorry we'll all be one day in hapless, meaningless jeremiads.
