I think the worst pinch point for separated bike lanes on Mass Ave is going to be at Huntington where the Symphony station headhouses are right there alongside the travel lanes. A travel or turn lane will have to go, because I can't imagine that moving the headhouses would be anything less than a multi-million dollar project. Mass Ave is supposed to be one of Boston's Vision Zero priority corridors and I'm really looking forwards to seeing something fast happen there.

I used it a few weeks ago, walked over during the middle of the final inning and got my bike back in seconds. It's just a secured area with an attendant watching the bikes, so no waiting while someone runs halfway across the city to retrieve your vehicle. Great service!

The print/ebook edition looks like it has a little more content versus the website from what I can tell on Amazon.

I really like NACTO's online format for this, their bike guide and their general urban street guide. Super easy to use and it turns up in google searches.

Previously parking was only allowed on Tremont Street at night, so this is new parking. We should be thankful they are at least charging for it, but bus or bike lanes would have been a better use for the street space.

Cambridge's planners and engineers recognize that leading bicycle intervals improve safety and decrease frustration, and so they set up newly redone intersections to encourage it. But if someone trained on one of these intersections tries the same maneuver elsewhere in Cambridge, the police ticket them. Someone needs to sit the cops down for an interdepartmental meeting.

The NYT's title was something like "Corruption in Afghanistan All But Cripples Women's Team", I adapted it to focus on the cycling element and added a key quote from one of the athletes who fled to the west. I suppose that the NYT later changed the headline after complaints, which is fair.
