Okay, now you're going off the deep end. At least keep it somehow tied to Boston

It's not a legitimate question when you can open up google and within 10 seconds get your answer. It's also typically used by trolls to bait you into providing a specific source so they can then attack that specific source with some sort of fallacy.

"I have no other way to get around" is used as an excuse by people who are driving complete shitboxes that have no business being on the road (or don't have a license), or the elderly who can barely see and can't tell the go pedal from the stop pedal. It's also how we ended up with our epidemic of drunk driving - and of course judges are hesitant to pull people's licenses, because how else will they get to their job? So we let them keep their license and their car until they've gotten into multiple crashes or killed someone. And grandma doesn't lose her license until she plows her buick into the hair salon and injures a dozen people.

It's so painfully obvious to the rest of the world that you cannot base your transportation system off the concept of "assume everyone has a car."

We need to stop pissing money into building more lanes of highways, and start building and supporting more public transit. The lives saved from drunk driving alone would be worth it.

Pay more attention at the Partiarchy meeting, and you'll know about the subcommittees.

Mitsubishi, Citroen, Audi. The list is slowly growing.

The volt and bolt along were made to satisfy fleet emissions requirements in CA and several other states. It's also the only reason the EV1 existed, why the electric RAV4 existed, etc.

GM didn't decide, they HAD to. CA said "if you want to sell cars in CA, you have to build X zero emissions vehicles."

Why can't you cite someone for something recorded on video where they and the plate are identifiable? I understand you said you cannot, but I'd like to know why.

Maybe if he can't afford the tickets he should keep his car in proper repair.

If they can't afford to keep their license and such going, then who says they're keeping their car in safe, drivable condition?

There is no "right" to own and drive a car.

How about this for good reason: there are people on the road like me who aren't protected by a bunch of metal, airbags, etc. I rely on people following the law to keep me safe. You are incredibly naive thinking a warning does anything. Here in our state cops caught the same guy texting THREE times in one day. His excuse: "I didn't think you'd still be here."

One day they're changing lanes without looking in front of you - the next day they're doing it and running me over.

Your buddies up above don't seem to agree. Apparently it's more important that they do favors than hold people accountable for their actions.

I wonder how they'd feel after a month on motorcycle or bicycle patrol. When someone gets in a wreck with another car, it's bent sheet metal. When it's with a motorcycle or cyclist or pedestrian, people die.

You can thank all the cops "doing people a favor" giving them warnings instead of tickets.

Thank you. Fifty nearly identical "OMG I LOVED THIS SERIES" comments, not a single one realizing most people don't know who the hell this character is or what series they're from.

I wish people remembered upvotes are for comments that ADD to the discussion.
