Cheers mate. The routine part is the most difficult I must say. Did 50 lengths in the pool which is just under a km. Didn't use the gym bit cos I managed to injure both calves and a thigh playing 5aside in a league for the first time in yonks. We usually play every weekend but at a much slower pace, need to adjust back to the higher tempo >_<

For sure, but it's the routine that makes it sustainable (in my experience anyway). Swimming is a great way to get fit without putting extra strain on your body, keep at it - although I personally find swimming boring as fuck I know some find it very calming, almost meditative.

These free talk Friday's seem to be earlier and earlier... I mean it's 6:30 in England, 12:30 am in New York... Not but a few months ago these were posted mid day in England and early morning for the people in the US. It's still Thursday for me. But if pleases the people so be it.
