Shut down the sub, Bitcoin won (self.Buttcoin)

This is a gamechanger for bitcoin.

Even bigger than tipping.

First we laughed at bitcoin (because we were jealous), but now that Overstock Dell Newegg Expedia Paypal Microsoft Steam accepts bitcoin, the world's greatest currency can no longer be ignored.

We mocked the bitcoiners and their supposedly crazy devotion to bitcoin. We thought it was a get rich quick scheme. Now who is laughing?

The bitcoiners.

Stand back folks, bitcoin is headed to the moon. Let's get out of this sub while we still have our dignity.

Damnit.

Alright, time to go convert all my money to bitcoins. As I understand it, the current protocol requires me to print paper wallets using a computer which has never been connected to the internet, with all the ports epoxied, using a variety of pieces of software and possibly dice to generate random numbers to create my private key.

I'll need to dig a 10 foot deep vault in my back yard, line it with lead, and bury the paper wallets in a waterproof box.

In the case of my possible death, in order to make sure my family gets my dragon hoard, I will need to leave instructions in a safety deposit box on how to obtain the bitcoins. However, in order to protect against theft, I need to encrypt these instructions and then have the decryption key broken into pieces and held by multiple people, including my lawyer, who will be sworn to secrecy on penalty of disbarment. Only the group of them together will be able to decode the instructions and follow the map.
