I've found that people who visit that sub tend to view it through a biased lens. And they try really really hard to defend it when it's brought up outside of their echo chamber.

Basically, they have no problem "ironically" joking about whites, and obsess over "people of color" (which is a pretty racist term itself) and women. In their world, the content of your character is determined by the color of your skin and what's between your legs, and while they may not directly hate non-white non-male people, you can definitely be racist without outright hatred involved. It's called "microagression". Their borderline insane obsessions over these two unimportant characteristics can be described, without hesitation, as racism.
