I have bought a hannspree tablet. My problem is when I try downloading an app it says this app is compatible with your device which comes up as my iPhone. What I am trying to do is add my tablet as a device so I can add apps. Any advice would be welcome.

Which app store are you trying to DL from?

This is new to me as I would never have thought that an iOS device would show as being compatible on an android app store.

iPhone apps and Android apps aren't compatible.

As above. Where are you downloading these tablet apps from? Do you have Google Play on the tablet?

I can't find anything particularly current but according to this review, they don't:

Hannspree tablet

That's why you need a recent review!

New Hanspree tablets do have Google Play - just checked their website.

Ah

That'll learn me

In that case then, I wonder how the OP ended up in the iTunes store?

Sorry for the late reply. Truth is this is my sisters tablet and she has one of them Samsung phones with the huge screens. It is this phone which is coming up as compatible with these apps. Is that phone not an android? It is places like amazon and google play that she is trying. Sorry for the misleading post.

The Samsung phone will be running Android. Can't you connect to Google Play from the tablet?

I have 2 android tablets and a Samsung phone. I can see 1 of the tablets and my phone when I connect to Google Play on my laptop and can send apps to both devices. However, I can't see my other tablet and have to download onto it direct from Google Paly.

Hope this makes sense (I've had alcohol )

Yes but when she ties to download an app it just comes up as this is compatible with your device and just the phone comes up. Enjoy the alcohol.

Not all apps are compatible with all devices and thank you I'm the right side of a bottle of Baileys

Not sure that answered your question
