A favorite song of mine from the movie "Paprika", it is the ending song(though it is heard everyone once in a while in the movie). But I find it quite lovely and just amazing with Kaito singing it ^^
A friend forwarded me this version, I'd daresay it's one of the best uses of Kaito's voice. Due to how old he is, often he sounds too mechanic, but in this song, whoever handled his voice did an excellent job.
coming back and listening to this version of this song years after, I still can't believe that this is a vocaloid. I am still waiting for some good english vocaloids. I can see it being implemented in mainstream music.
Can anyone tell me which vocaloid was used in the female vocals part in the original song ? It is the English voicaloid called 'Lola' as the Wikipedia says ?
you know Kaito is actually my least favorite Vocaloid, I just dont like him and dont like very many of this song..
but then there's this one. ever since i first found out this existed it was one of my most favorite songs by a Vocaloid and it has since made me think so much better of Kaito because of how great it sounds.
kinda proves any Vocaloid can sound amazing when it's in the posession of a great musician/user. <3
It's a real shame that Kaito doesn't have many good songs. He always sound choppy or off, but this song is beautiful.
The only other song I heard that is just as fluid is Kaito's version of True My Heart.
When he said "shizukana shizukana musume" I almost died because that means "quiet, quiet daughter" (quiet as In settle down) and I was listening to this while trying to sleep and it felt like he was singing to me and ahhhhhhh ;A; just shoot me in the face ;_;
Kaito has been my favorite VC for about two years already. I actually thought I knew a LOT about him.
Only now I heard this song and realised that I know nothing.
You have my tears of joy.
It's "Yoi ya naze ni mugen to bihai". They repeat it as "Yoi ya nonde jinrui geko bihai" later in the song. I forget what those phrases mean, though, sorry!
Muahahaha!
WHEN YOU GET THIS SONG AND VSQx USE IT IN YOUR V3 Gakupo, you are going to BE STONE!
I'll give KAITO ONE COVER WITH a deeper voice than yours, SEMI VOICE FOR ACUTE MAN!
great song, heard it for the first team about 5mins ago as im watching paprika for the first at this very moment on film4 :D instanly loved the catchy tune
@ChibiForte101 The producer did win an award for this. They won the 'Legendary KAITO User' title for this cover. I wanna win something like that someday. >_<
I first heard and downloaded this song about a year ago, I never knew who sung it I just like how it sounded. Now I'm into vocaloid and stumbled upon this video! I'm just too happy right now!!!
白虎野(Byakkoya)
白虎=Byakko means "White Tiger"
野=ya means field
so what Byakkoya means is "The White tiger field"
the name is from certain place at Vietnam. but i don`t remember how to call there in Vietnamese.
Okay, normally Kaito's falsetto just pisses me off because everybody seems to love abusing it, but this sounds absolutely fabulous. I have no idea what exactly you deserve but you deserve some sort of award for this awesome cover.
I was skeptical of this song at first; it's my favorite from the movie and I really loved the original... but you did an excellent job! I really like Kaito's range in this one.
After all these years, I'm still amazed at how real he sounds in this song. I don't think I've even heard any of the Miku Append versions or Luka sing this well.
@Furuiichi Hahah I've noticed that the base of Japanese music is very similar to the base of Indian music. Probably why I like Jap music more than Western music.
I swear, when I saw the movie, the first thing that came to mind was, "getting high must be scary as shit if this is what pops up in ur vision... or mind... whatever".
this song is nice, but i have to ask, is there any meaning behind these cryptic lyrics? or were they written to fit the theme of the movie? i would love to hear some opinions :)
If anyone is wondering, in the beginning rin and kaito are chanting
Intoxication, drink, humanity, non-drinkers, beauty~~
DOOOO~~
Intoxication, drink, humanity, non-drinkers, beauty~~
DOOOO~~
yeaaaaa.
@Meowlein My dad said that the best music is the kind you have to chew on for a while before you can swallow it :D it's always been true for me, the songs I like the most are the ones that took some time for me to like!
Haha, I sang this out of nowhere in class and people stared at me xDD
I explained Vocaloid and people came out of nowhere when I was walking to class asking , "What the fuck is Vocaloid?" I just told them to look it up and that internet has MANY THINGS with Vocaloid in it. That includes WIKIPEDIA.
I first heard this song a year ago at an Anime Convention. Soo since I'm not at the convention this year, I might as well listen to this amazing song.
you know what i found to be the coolest thing?
"yoi ya naze ni mugen ho bihai" (the beginning lyrics) was sung by a vocaloid originally in the song. it was meiko. awsome right?
i love this song so much. it just really is beautiful. and it makes you think of the parade thats going in the background. intresting, fun, and really nice to watch! even tho the parade in reality is really screwed up and you didnt want it there at all. but yah kno. it was nice.
WOW this is sooo kool i saw 'Paprika' like a long time ago and i remember how much i loved this song but i never knew what it was called or where to find it. THIS IS SO KOOL!
I love this CJ! =D I love this song so much(in Kaito's voice) That I have three versions of this song!(Please don't ask were I got them, there from a unknown source of mine). I loved the movie...I sould watch it again!^^ (and maby download so we can watch it at my birthday party)
Glad that you like it . Oh and thanks for clearing that up ^^' My mistake...
Oh you can find the movie here, on Youtube, though it's english dubbed...It's pretty good though.
