Caru-Kun: The Cheshire Cat doesn't have a gender. All of the creatures in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are called 'it'.
As for Alice, her hair color and outfit are all based on the reader's imagination. She might have long blond hair and wears a blue maid outfit, she might have short black and wears a short plaid red skirt with a long black shirt.
Sorry if I sounded bitchy or offended, it's just I find it a little irritating when someone specifies a certain character from Wonderland as a certain gender and something of the sort.

Most people have only really seen the majority of picture books of Alice in Wonderland, in which Alice is almost always depicted with long, blonde hair, and a blue dress.

It didnt work... Rin can fly by holding 2 cups (I don't know what type of cup) I hold the two cup and started to jump but didn't fly... (I got grounded)

at first look I thought Cheshire cat was gackupo ... that would have been cooloer though because Cheshire cat is a boy and he has the purple hair.I think gumi would fit the mad hatter role better to because her hair is a different color which is kinda mad and crazyrin could have been alice cause she is blond and has the bow in her hair all the time

+Homunculus Hope Yes, but a work can have multiple themes and inspirations, and while the impetus was a simple story, the author still had to expand it to make it into a full book. And while the author never confirmed it to my knowlege, drugs do seem to be a major theme in the final work. The draughts and cakes at the beginning that make Alice grow larger and smaller and the hookah-smoking caterpillar are the only direct references that I know of, but much of the journey's insanity is reminiscent of a "trip."

It's like Paper Mario because they are chibi and in a theater. In one (or more) Paper Mario Title(s) of the series, the battles take place in a theater. Plus they are flat so they are sideways.
