    Rooney is looking good in a deeper role.

    Really nice to see the front players looking to run in behind when Rooney comes onto the ball. His distribution from deep really is quality most of the time.

    Also, Lingard proving to a lot of people here that he does have great technical ability, he might be a late bloomer but he really could progress into true starting XI quality. Personally think he'll have a decent career but ultimately end up a bit part player for us if and when LvG departs.

    Beautiful attacking football. The chemistry and link up play between Rashford, Lingard and Martial is breathtaking. Definitely need to get that second goal tho. More of this in the second half. Common Lads!

    We are playing it right so far. Play our possession game at the back with track backs from Fellaini. Everton chooses to press which causes gaps in their midfield. Exploit the gaps with our pacy youngsters.

    Pros: *our front 3 (martial, rashford, and jesse) are playing some fantastic football at the moment. they have been direct and always up to influence play, whether that's moving central, away from the ball, toward midfield, or drifting out wide. wonderful to watch

    *wayne rooney is having a great match so far. his touch looks solid and confident, and he has worked hard to be involved

    *fella coming in with the goods!

    *carrick is back to playing a calming role in the center of the park, good to see

    Cons:

    *we have made some terrible school boy mistakes that a better side would have punished us for already

    • Fosu-Mensah has been a bit shaky (he has been a growing into the game though)

    *we've created a bunch but only have one goal to show for it. We need decisiveness
