So this guy made a post a month ago on my university's subreddit pretending to be a woman in CS, speaking for all women, saying that they were all given their positions because of affirmative action and not because of merit.
Copy pasted in case he deleted it:
As a female in Computer Science, and as someone who is friends with many first-years and upper-years in Computer Science, it disgusts me that people like the author of this Medium (hurr hurr I'm on medium i'm so self-righteous) "open letter" blames these views entirely on men. Where do you think they come from? I myself have been accepted to many things like the Microsoft Explore program, Facebook, etc. and it was no secret why they wanted to interview me and chose me over similarly qualified men. It's because I was a woman. Yes, I'm also skilled, but those men were better than me. I won't even get into the other things like Hack the North and #HeForShe (which WiCS people don't even like) and how they are just trying to shove men out by making them uncomfortable. But seriously, it's not all about you and the sexist manpigs, sometimes it really is about common sense and the lack thereof among you Medium writers.
Funnily enough, I RES tagged him as "pretends to be a girl" because of this.
Well, today my suspicions were confirmed correct. OP is just another lonely man pretending to be a woman to confirm his & the subreddit's sexist assumptions. Sweet irony.
