Shots were fired in a downtown residential building and two men were ‘possibly’ kidnapped on Tuesday morning … and nobody heard a thing.

Police were called to 300 Front Street West, at John Street, at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday after a woman noticed something that looked like a bullet on the floor.

Police discovered two intact bullets and approximately three casings on the floor, and also found property damage, all on the 25th floor.

Police also found an intact bullet in the 16th floor stairwell.

Investigators questioned all residents on the 25th floor, but none claimed to have heard gunshots.

Some residents did report hearing a physical altercation and yelling in one of the units the night before, Monday April 18.

There is no damage on the 24th or 26th floors.

Toronto Police say the incident is connected to a “possible” kidnapping.

They say that during the “early-morning hours” on Tuesday, two men were taken against their will in the Front and Spadina area. Police add that it is not known where the men are or who took them.

The building’s property management sent a letter to residents on Tuesday, calling the incident “very serious” and that the police investigation could take “several days.”
