I'm supposed to be talking to landlords about housing over the summer, so I'm going to leave and not argue about this. Trump said today that he's not telling trannies which bathroom to use. He specifically said that he would not go going for the North Carolina law. He said it clearly and even said that he's thought of this beforehand. He did not misspeak. He did not pander either; he's been supporting trannies for years, since he let them into Miss Universe. That is his view and you need to deal with that.

Personally, I've been dealing with gender disagreement with Trump for the entirety of his campaign. Trump constantly says that he respects women, cherishes women, he's been hiring tons of them and been very fair to them. I was first noticed in /r/TheRedPill, where I was quickly seen as one of the most offensive and non-equality people there. I was one of the people who supported Trump back when he was polling at 3% and I haven't agreed with his commitment towards gender equality at all since day one.

However, that's my PERSONAL OPINION. I support Trump. He's the kind of strong alpha beast we need running this nation and he sold me on that long before he sold me on anything else. Trump is a man I respect and I support him even though there are views of his I disagree with. I have the maturity and respect to understand that disagreement isn't the end of the world. He's deeply committed to equality. I'm not. I don't see what the big issue is. However, a bunch of people refuse to extend the respect that I've extended to Trump since day one, to his views on trannies.

Trump does not pander to the left or to the right. The way to be uninfluenced by PC culture is not to spend your life finding the least PC views and adopting them PURELY for the sake of not being PC. That's still being controlled. If you happen to have non-PC views then you're non-controlled. If you happen to have only the least PC views available, that's not being controlled. But if all you do is figure out what PC Police are up to so that you can base your worldviews on them, then you're still controlled. Trump does not fall into that third camp and he holds a view that the politically correct people agree with. He's not pandering to them or to you. Trump is Trump, even if it won't hurt trannies to be Trump.

Here's how I'm gonna handle this.

  • First: By banning everyone who calls for the removal of mods who promote Trump's views. The whole fucking point of this sub is to promote Trump's views. That's why I really can't understand why I even have to say this. You can disagree but for fuck's sake be respectful about the purpose of this sub or stand behind your disrespect by getting the fuck out.

  • Second: By 'leaving things as they are' in terms of policy. Just like Trump advocated against banning trannies from bathrooms, we're not gonna make rules against being non-PC.

  • Third: By banning anyone who tries to turn this sub into an Anti-Trump protest. I know the difference between a genuinely put post on trannies or a meme about trannies and a passive-aggressive attempt to abuse the fact that we don't ban transphobia here. If you don't know the difference than you're too retarded to post here. Whether it's intentional passive aggression or unintentional retardation, I don't care. I see a giant flood of anti-Trump posts masquerading as every day transphobia and I'm banning every participant. This is a pro-Trump sub.

Actually, there is one policy change--second bullet is a not quite right.

Nothing is changing about casual funny politically incorrect tranny jokes like we've always had, but the mod staff recognizes that Trump would let a tranny use whichever bathroom they want it the Trump Tower. Do all the ordinary every day "transphobia" you want, attack helicopter jokes are funny, but that view is officially one of Trump's and I'm not going to allow this to be a place where Trump fans are getting shat upon for supporting Trump's views. White knight virtue signaling is gay, but this sub has no official problem with thinking trannies should pick their bathrooms.

Trump is a businessman. He thinks like a businessman and not a sold out politician. This is part of the reason that we love him so much. A businessman will accommodate customers regardless of race, gender, or other demographics. Trump's stance on this issue is very much in line with his other views when you think about it in this light.

I think it's good he doesn't have a strong opinion on this issue. I feel like this and most other social issues should be left to states or smaller communities (city, county, whatever).
We are so used to a certain executive branch administration bringing social issues on a nationwide scale that most people think they need a president who agrees with themselves fully.

The solution is to get the government out of the issue entirely. Repeal anti-discrimination laws and let people and businesses set their own policies regarding bathrooms or weddings or anything else.

I think it has to do with some of the more conservative types that are with the Donald. They agree with his policies, but aren't as socially liberal (freedom for everyone) as him. For the most part, Trump thinks everyone should have the right to pursue happiness, as long as your pursuit doesn't conflict with someone else's rights. Of course there will be things we disagree and agree with. I feel like some people want a candidate that's exactly like them self. That's ridiculous. My biggest concerns are for bettering the nation as a whole. I don't care whether or not his policies will affect me directly. I want to see the country succeed. I think the problem is promoting that Trump is in full support of these things. I hardly think giving the OK on Miss Universe makes him some kind of defender of trannies. Clearly Trump views all lgbt relations as business. If it hurts business then he will "support it." Posts trying to say Trump supports these social issues are ridiculous. It paints him in this light that Trump isn't. He clearly doesn't care. Being indifferent or using to your benefit is not real support.
I personally enjoy the fact he brushes these useless issues aside. We are here for bigger and better reasons than bathroom visits. I just think the sub should view them in the same light that Trump treats them. As small and unimportant to the greater good of America.

I am disappointed but its not a huge deal really. I always knew that it would be like this. As a Catholic my view is that this culture battle is supernatural. I don't think trannies are sick just because its ostensibly quite yucky; its sick because its against natural law and against God- and the more society and culture embraces evil the more corrupt and evil culture becomes. This is a simplified way of stating it of course.
Point is that I realize Trump doesn't view it the same way; but he's the best of what we have and as long as he is not promoting bullshit like LBGTQLMNOP rights then I'm on board. But as soon as he starts promoting them or being apologetic then I'm out. So far he just seems neutral towards it with a non-convincing superficially positive attitude but not outright support.

I side with Trump on this issue because his view on it is the only one that is sane : not legislating bathroom use beyond existing laws, encouraging common sense behavior, and enforcing laws already in place.
The SJW left wants to have a law that says you can use whatever bathroom you identify with. Grats, you just let pervs walk into the opposite gender bathroom because at that moment they decided they identified as female. There's no way to "verify" someones own identity concept, so this will lead to perverted men walking into the womens room and saying they identified as a female for the several minutes they were in there or vice versa. This obviously is not good.
But legislating it the other way is just as insane. You pass a law that says that you have to use the bathroom that matches your birth certificate. You can't tell me with any sense of honesty that if a passable transgender person walks into the biologically correct restroom its not going to make them the target of issues either. First, you are forcing them to out themselves publicly every time they have to relieve themselves, and second you cant tell me that if what outwardly appears to be a hot female (that happens to have a trouser snake hidden away) walks into the mens room, particularly in an alchohol serving establishment, that it won't lead to bad behavior to say the least.
Both of these approaches are stupid. Trumps approach is somewhat equivalent to don't ask don't tell - as long as you aren't doing anything otherwise illegal, we don't really give a shit about what your identity is or where you decide to drop a turd - particularly since transgenders are such a ludicrously tiny portion of the total population. It wasn't an issue before. This is an invented non-issue in which both sides are losers. Trump is simply smart enough to not be forced into a side on it.

They basically don't exist for the most part. Getting all "mental disorder" and "dicks in men's bathroom" is a waste of time. Just look at how things are actually playing out in the real world.
  • There are no incidents with creepy men claiming to be women to be able to watch little girls pee. Even if there was one, you can treat it on a case by case basis.

To anybody who is angry or disappointed at what Trump said, look, we all knew this question was going to come up and people would try to play gotcha with his answer (Trump said so himself): he responded very responsibly and as admirably as he could. This is a cultural war issue that's been almost universally presented and engineered to make the people "on the wrong side" lose by default. It's also a distraction. Who uses what bathroom is nowhere near as important as your jobs, fighting ISIS and fixing the country. Everybody knows Trump has the best positions on all of these, no contest, and trying to splinter his support over a sore and petty spot like this is going to be some of the last ammo the cucks shoot. Trump isn't running to change society. He has views on social issues like everyone, but he has never made them a point of his campaign or something he intends to waste time on during his presidency. He wants to address real problems with our government and economy, while upholding and reinforcing the already established constitutional rights for everyone.

I would like to point out that Trump really can't say anything else. In NYC and other localities LBGT rights transcend business owners rights to decide what customers use which bathroom. If he were to say that he wanted trannies using their biological sex's bathroom it could be used against him as trannies would flood his hotels and venues and claim this as evidence that they had been discriminated against.
Just to say this, there is not really a good answer to this question. It doesn't matter what bathroom a tranny is in, most people don't don't want their son or daughter in same bathroom with them and paying for entirely different bathrooms won't work since its too costly and they will still protest and sue you. Realistically you would need 5 bathrooms to deal with everyone's gender identity, but it still wouldn't work. Bare in mind that transgendered people are a minority of a very small minority, less than 1% of the population.

    Jeez. Is it really that big of an issue? If you ever find a politician that has the exact same values as you do it would be a miracle. You're supposed to support and vote for the person that best matches your values and views on issues, and who you think would be best suited for the office.
    If who shits where is that big of a thing for you, then you might need to reevaluate what you're doing with your life. I don't care if a trans woman uses the ladies room, just as I don't care if a trans male uses the mens room. It's not like people go into the restroom and swing their genitals around. There are stalls in the ladies room. For privacy.
    People have been blowing it way out of proportion. They expect that a fat hairy man in a skirt is going to go into the restroom and swing his lady dick in their wives face. There's nothing stopping a whacko from doing that now, except laws, which will still be in place. If any person assaults another person by swinging their genitals around they get arrested, and still will.

    Also, there is a difference between believing that these sorts of minor (as in they affect .00001% of the population) social matters should be removed from government influence, and actively advocating for trans people to use whatever bathroom they want. Trump is for small government and this is consistent with that view.

    It's pretty obvious Trump took this position in order not to court controversy. And he's RIGHT, the bathroom law was unnecessary and has done the state more harm than good business-wise, because it's losing jobs and money because of the law while the law was arguably pretty much unnecessary to begin with as there were few if any actual problems before it.
    I think transgenderism is essentially a mental disorder that should be treated as such (and not treated as an "identity"), but I think Trump is correct looking at the costs and benefits of the bathroom law.

    But yeah, I'm on the same page. I don't necessarily agree with everything Trump does. For instance I am in the field of Special Education, I have a brother with Autism, and one of the few times Trump has made me cringe is when he's talked about children getting Autism from vaccines. Also, when he imitated the disabled reporter, that was cringeworthy to me, especially if he knew the guy was disabled. But then, I've advocated for and befriended many people with disabilities over the years, so I just may be extra sensitive in that area. I've honestly heard and seen a lot worse things in regards to the treatment disabled people.
    However, just because this one area is sketchy for me doesn't mean I'm going to drop him and declare myself a Cruzbot. It's not realistic to agree with everybody 100%.

    I support Trump in his view on Transexuals. Trump is a man who unites people. For such a small portion, a very small, portion of the population, Trump could have easily said - " I do not support transexuals" and would have won major brownie points with those that who have issues with transexuals and lgbt. It would have been such an easy thing to do.That is not his style, that is not what he believes, and so he will voice what he believes - even if it hurts him. That is called integrity and courage, and those are the virtues of a true leader. Virtues that is sorely missing in our leaders.
    For Trump, it doesn't matter if your white, black, or yellow. It doesn't matter if you are the colors of the rainbow. It does not matter if you man, woman, or w.e. It is all about the Red, White and Blue. You are an American. That is a beautiful thing.

    I think Trump is right. It's a social issue that's just now coming strongly under the public scrutiny. Let the people sort it out first and let social "rules" form. Our behavior is much less influenced by laws than social norms and peer pressure.

    I'll be very very honest, I am very conservative when it comes to money, military, jobs, 2nd amendment rights, sensible taxation, regulations (I want LESS of them), and public safety. Considering the 2 major parties I had to choose from I have always been a republican, however I was never fired up about shutting off abortion (don't fund it, but allow it). I was glad to finally have a GOP front runner who wasn't talking 24/7 about social issues like abortion, and gay marriage. While I don't like the trans bathroom issue, that is to say allowing trans in spaces sexually segregated, I don't want to fight about it.
    And if you have read this far, also understand the issue is a complete red herring, a false division issue designed by the left to divide normal everyday people who don't dwell on nonsense like which bathroom a cross-dresser uses . We all know there are 100's of more gay and lesbian coaches teaching in high schools around the country who SEE young children showering and using the bathrooms, than there are trans or voyeur/perverts who will try this. Most parents are hyper vigilant when there kids use public restrooms, but the same group don't give a second thought to there sons or daughter pe time at school. And women worried about men using the ladies rooms because of attacks should remember, when a person wants to attack you in a restroom he doesn't care now that's its a woman's only restroom.

    This is the most important aspect of this election, IMO. He's the only man running for the role of the head of our military, the man that's supposed to keep us safe and direct the might of the most powerful military in the world. And as far as "equality" goes, i.e. the liquidation of minority/female accountability, the red pillers(including myself) are likely to have some sort of unreasonable bias, since we operate on tremendous generalities, so I think this is where we should show a bit of humility and support our god-emporer. The most important issue(to me) is keeping the American people safe, by stopping the Iraq war from following us home, and stopping Obama/Hillary/Bernie/(and most likely) Cruz from welcoming middle-easterners with open arms.
    A second 9/11 and pedo rapes in our train stations are far more daunting than mentally ill faggots invading female bathrooms.

    2. Trying to engineer society to have equal gender representation in all regards is both harmful and futile
    3. No one is arguing that genders should be foreclosed certain opportunities or that gender discrimination should be legally enshrined in any way (except for maybe things like armed forces or something)
    4. Champions of "gender equality" are almost always lying opportunists or brainwashed robots who need to manufacture victimhood to retain a sense of purpose.
