FA Cup or Top 4? (self.reddevils)

Hi guys, I don't know if there is already a thread on this but I've got a question for you all....

At this moment in time would you rather us beat Everton, go on to the final and win the cup if it meant it hinders are top 4 chances because we would be focused on the FA cup?

I know a lot of people would probably want the Top 4 but realistically we have more of a chance of winning the FA cup now than the CL next year, especially if we don't get a new manager. I think the team needs A LOT of improvement; not only in terms of play but I think we have a long way to go before we reach CL winning mentality. Ultimately, I think the FA Cup is our only chance for a trophy for a long while.

So yeah what does everyone think?

EDIT: Sorry about that guys! Hadn't taken into consideration that the final is in fact after the league. I was thinking more on a hypothetical basis when I'd made this thread. Haha.

Focused on the FA cup

If we beat Everton we will be focused on the league as the FA cup final won't be until after the League has finished, So this question is kind of redundant at this stage

Top 4 any day. Although it is more than possible to do both. We need to beat Everton this weekend and then we can focus on top 4 for the rest of the season ending with the final on may 21st.

I don't see why we should settle for less considering the 4 games we have left in the league.

Ah I see. Even if the final was in the middle of the schedule, irrespective of how shitty we play, a club of our size should never settle for either/or when comes to achieving something even if it's just the top 4 or the Fa Cup.

We are favourites for the Fa cup considering the teams left and we are in a good position to sneak a top 4 place if we win all our remaining games

FA Cup because we haven't won it in over 10 years. Rooney has never won it.

Top 4 is important, and i'd love it, but NOT getting it will drive LvG out and Mourinho will have less games to worry about in his first season of squad building.
