Next season, if we ditch this 4231 formation and switch to 442, we can play:

--------------De Gea
Shaw SIGNING Smalling Darmian
Memphis Schneiderlin SIGNING SIGNING
------------Martial Rashford

OUT: Mata, Herrera, Fellaini, Carrick, Rojo.

Rooney - who knows, stay as a squad player or leave.

Keeper: World class.

Defenders: With Shaw back - even better. With a real CB instead of Blind - even better still. Stick with Darmian with TFM playing now and then.

Midfield: Woeful. Schneiderlin is a good player and needs to build confidence. Memphis has had a season to write-off, but there's a player there. can rotate with Valencia/Young when we play more attacking teams.

We need an experienced, creative CM and an attacking, pacey winger. Griezmann is being mentioned and is the exact caliber we need.

Strikers: Rashford and Martial are up and coming. Strong, quick, instinctive and technical. Potential to be world class. We need backups though (Rooney if he's happy to rotate).

Rooney has been better this season than Schneiderlin and Memphis. He may have had a bad start but from the turn of 2016 he's been one of the best players in the squad.

Also I don't see why you're shaping us around the prehistoric 442 and forcing 2 teenagers to be starting every week. Rashford already looks fucked from this schedule could you imagine a whole season like that?

Rooney has been better than them but it's got to be taken in context. He's a fading force and rapidly declining. Memphis will get better.

What does that even mean? Rooney hasn't played defensive midfield or left wing. You can't compare.

Martial has started every week and handles it fine. Rashford can rotate if he's knackered.

What are you on about lol, Rooney has been absolute rubbish for almost 4 months. Then 2016 came along and he started playing well but that was only for a handful of games until he got injured and only just came back last week. Since when did a handful of good performances make you one of the best players in the squad?

Please god no, not 4-4-2. Only Fergie can make that work now and even he stopped using it by the end. Also your formation is a bit weird. I think you have your left on the right and right on the left but that doesn't excuse the fact you said to rotate Valencia for Memphis when Valencia's left foot barely exists.

Rashford will not be able to play a whole season as a striker. He needs to be rotated in rather and someone else rotating for him if that makes sense. Although I don't drool at his name as much as this sub, I do like Herrera. I don't think he should be sold. I want him around as a rotation option.

I do agree with the defense. Blind has been tremendous but I still want someone like Rio in there. I want Blind to be a rotation option next season, very smart player with great vision.

Why would you write out a formation like that? Are you looking at the pitch from under the ground?
